Backed by Hyperconnect, Azar was a revolutionary dating app. An interactive and friendly space for users to know each other through games, translatable chats, stickers and more such features.
The app model involves various referral incentives, using profile data to tailor connections as per the users’ interests, along with secure and sophisticated community guidelines.
When launching and establishing Azar in India in 2017, the intent of providing organic connections, safety and a creative evolutionary interface was highlighted in our campaigns and digital activities. Having gained 100 million users worldwide in India after this project, Azar became one of the leading dating/social apps.
Project Overview
Product Launch
For the product launch, incent and non-incent-based campaigns were done to achieve a notable number of app downloads. Additionally, programmatic and influencer marketing was done where users were encouraged to participate in the referral progressive tier program called the Friend Get Friend campaign.
Influencer Marketing
Numerous influencers such as Nitibha Kaul, Akriti Ranagill and Shaurya Sanadhya were selected to be the faces of youth and share their experience of using Azar.
